Holograph working manuscript in pencil, paginated 72-75 in pencil and 71-74 in ink, with many corrections and erasures, with deletions and performance markings in green and pink ink. Caption written in blank ink with date (1980) in red ink. Accompanied by a presentation inscription to "Harold" [Rosenbaum] on Del Tredici's printed stationery ([1] leaf ; 11 x 14 cm), signed "David" and dated Mar. 10, 2008; Del Tredici reminds Rosenbaum that the work received the Pulitzer Prize in 1980 and therefore the manuscript is worth more money.
